I like this version. The adaptive width works well for my big screen.
I agree it does look washed out though.

I still can see NO DIFFERENCE (other than less contrast and no borders) between the "fluid" version and the classic version on my wide screen monitor. The classic version fully populates the full screen width when I expand the borders, just like the "fluid version". If others can see some else, what is it?

Classic still gets my vote for ease of viewing.

I agree with a previous comment about fluid being to 'bright'. Also, classic is still acting 'fluid' on my screen.

Either one is good.

To tell you the truth i like it the way it is now. No reson to change it. Its very easy on the eyes. And it has some contrast. So my vote is to keep it at the version we have now.

Can we have a poll on this if the intention is to scrap the existing style, otherwise I am happy to keep the option have it as it is. It's far more readable than the "new look".

Agreed. Its not that the new style is bad, i just think the original is better than the new one.

There's so few that have posted here compared to the number that use these forums, I doubt a poll will add much. The concensus here seems to be nothing better has been added, and much has been taken away in terms of ease of reading. I don't understand why this "fluid" change was even proposed Change for the sake of change? If it isn't broken...

Just needs a like button

Earlier I posted that I like the new look, that was from my main computer with the humongo screen. Now I'm on my netbook, WOW! I REALLY like it here.

If a link to a poll was put in a more prominent position, like next to the "test out link" at the top I'm sure it would attract a representative sample of users to vote.
