So far, I'm very happy with it, especially with those 2226/25 roxxy motors. I was worried of using some 2200mAh lipos because of the weight, but the hexa handled it with no problem.
Lots of power and very agile, so a very nice setup for FPV!

The flight controller I've used is a TMF pro one. Works very good.

Next time I'll try some onboard video

Thank you for posting this video. Is that a 450 landing skid or 500?
Did you manage to calculate flight times? Enough power for mounting a video TX and a gopro?

The landing gear is a gaui330x that I've adapted, but any 450 can be adapted (and I guess the 330X one is a 450 skid cut in two pieces...).
Next time I'll manage to record the flight time, but I can say for sure that it could lift a gopro and a video TX, even with a 2200mAh lipo. Though, if I do that, I'll probably switch to capacity between 1000 an 1500mAh, just to save some weight (and flight time of course).
The hexa with everything included (except lipo) weights 430gr, and with a 2200mAh lipo, it weights 610gr.

Cheers

Align 450 landing gear is just perfect for that frame.
I use one. It's light and durable.

About flight time....
Without GoPro and fresh 2200mAh I can fly for about 15-16 minutes.
With GoPro attached flight time is 8-9 minutes.
Quite good result I think.

Ok received my frame along with the gopro housing. Frame seems very strong and it's so cute I decided to go with the roxxy motors after all since those are really light and deliver lot's of power for their size.

I am not sure though how the FC should be mounted on. The pre drilled wholes are not on a 45 degree angle which leaves me in doubt of what flight configuration this hexa is using.. I thought this hexa was supposed to be flown in x mode... and if it is how I am suppose to mount the FC?

Front Arms = 120mm

Mid Arms = 115mm

Rear= 95mm

P.S If you don't plan using the motor mounts extend all the arms by 25mm to have enough clearance for 5" props.

Never mind I figured it out. You have designed this model for use with your own FC which has different orientation.

Well i have to say that the design can't accommodate my board although it should accept both orientations of the square type FCs. Maciej you might wanna look into this and correct your schematics. No offense but you shouldn't expect every user of the scorpio to go with a cyberdrone fc.

Anyway since this is a mini hexa and weight is a major factor I came up with this little thing that shouldn't weight more than 10g-25g depending on the mat used and will make your life easier. Feel free to use it.

Spec:

Outer Diameter = 48mm
Inner Diameter = 42mm
Opposite whole distance = 45mm
Whole clearance from inner and outer diameter = 3mm

No problem.

Note that all measurements I gave you were taken from the DFX file attached by the designer in the beggining of this thread.

Hello Dehas, don't you think it would have been a good idea to have the center plates bigger, for strengh and stiffness purposes?
