wow... I gotta say, I didn't see this one coming but SUPER happy to see/hear it is!!

I am fairly new the the UMX Beast (original version) and was just warming up to it when they announced it being discontinued. I was ok with that in that they said there would be parts support for a couple years out or something, so whilst I was kinda bummed I was willing to deal with it.... but still always hoping it would come back improved, better, stronger or whatever

It is too cool and fun a plane to make it disappear I thought so was always hoping they'd tweak it some based on all the veteran UMX Beast guys out there... was even thinkin' they might change up the paint scheme, but I woulda been happy pretty much anyway they went... IF they did anything

so I am hopeful flight vids will surface soon and you all report great things about it!!

so standing by and assuming the lurker position for now...

i called my LHS and hes never even heard of the new umx beast 3D but kindly informed me he has plenty V1's in stock, pffft god dam australia i bet we wont get them till in the new year that means only 1 more full year of flying before the world ends

The MCPX heli uses this 3 axis stabilization. I fly one and do minor 3D with it. You don't even know the AS3X is there. Your skill is required to fly these as they are not an automatic recovery auto pilot. Just a system to dampen out unintended input from unstable design and wind.

As a Beast v1 owner I can't wait to purchase v2. I can attest that the Beast design is very robust and can take a lot of abuse. The v1 design was really stable and already had a big plane feel. With the AS3X it will help this plane perform locked in 3D.

I would really like to see a mono plane capable of 3D show up as well. Something bigger than the Sukhoi and lighter wing loading. I love my UMX Extra 300 but would like a bigger scale brushless 3D mono wing. Please Horizon?
