I just got a couple of the Zippy 180's from the US warehouse...ok looking little battery, came right at storage voltage and charged right up good to 8.4/4.2 per cell.

I have two MCX-size 25C 270 mAh 1s which weigh in at 8g each. They should make a nice pack as well, just need to make a 2x1s to JST adapter.

Still wish HK would come up w/ a form-factored Nano or Rhino 180 for the Slick though...

That would be neat. Well, let's see what they come up with for their range of 490mm planes. Also still haven't heard back from Dean what the real run times are. 2:30 seems awfully short on 180. Guess we're going to have to wait and see til the buggers finally make it to our doors.

I pulled the trigger when there were 4 left. In a rush forgot to add the rx, so I had to eat a couple of dollars of extra shipping... I did order 4 of the 180 packs that were in stock here in the US but I was thinking of pulling the gear and tailwheel and going with a larger pack.

have you heard from ideal when they will be getting the new beast x yet?

Wait.. what? Who's this? :P No I haven't contacted Ideal about it. But I plan to ask in the next week or so. Ideal usually gets products in a day or two before the other stores I've found.. so fingers crossed for November

he's usually on the up and up of new products - probably because I've bugged him about them lol


I usually buy my helis/planks from Ideal as i'm not that far away.
