Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My!!!

Quote:
ZANESVILLE, Ohio Dozens of animals escaped Tuesday from a wild-animal preserve that houses bears, big cats and other beasts, and the owner later was found dead there, said police, who shot several of the animals and urged nearby residents to stay indoors.

That's sad. On the morning news they were saying that the police were equipped with trank guns and Jack Hanna was there to help as well.

Apparently Ohio has no laws against keeping exotic/wild critters, so this type of thing is common there (keeping not escaping). They even have auctions where folks trade in these creatures.

This morning a rumor was reported that the owner unlocked all the cages and killed himself.....rumor, but if it is true, he must have been pissed at everyone.....also it stated he had just gotten out of jail or prison.

They can be vicious. Remember the lady whose face was torn off and had to get a transplant?

Just discovered there's a private zoo within 15 miles straight distance of my home with 9 tigers, (including 4 Siberian, one of which weighs 750 lbs), 1 male African lion, and 3 leopards.
