Being on the left means that you divide the world between rich and poor much more than you divide it between good and evil. For the leftist, the existence of rich and poor — inequality — is what constitutes evil. More than tyranny, inequality disturbs the Left, including the non-Communist Left. That is why so many on the Left fell in love with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chávez, and, at other times, with every left-wing dictator.

Non-leftists see these men as thugs; much of the Left sees them as fighters for equality. Yes, leftist dictators extinguish freedom and steal land and businesses from the rich — but none of this disturbs most of the Left. Left-wing dictators are seen by the Left as kindred spirits in hating inequality.

The zero sum vision of economics and the strife and division it always leads to.

You know, if people would quit typing fear mongering stupidity, fools would quit believing it.

Inequality in tax, the poor pay a greater percentage of their income than the rich. Seems fair to you I see. Then again, you're rich, why should you care.

Inequality where it is not due, due to tax benefits only accessible thanks to wealth. And being wealthy does not mean greater efficiency.

Many times, countries overthrew rulers with corrupt regimes that WE supported. The Commies only had to stroll in and say "See? The West is fueling your oppressors!"

Asking the rich to pay a share of taxes that they did during Reagan's administration, is translated into class warfare by pundits. I guess the target audience is easily determined.

Funny, thats what I see too. But I'm really not paying too much attention.
This protest has many groups and politicians on its side that I despise.
A Cloward /Piven scent that makes me leery.

They do this since the Left has no good idea's to build themselves up.
History has shown, tearing down only gives temporary satisfaction.
Afterward they are left living in a third world style shack, hungry, cold, and dominated.

I was talking with a casual acquaintance yesterday and find out his tenant owed 90,000 on his house in 1996 and refi'd to 360,000 in 2007 so what is that this domitilo alvarado comes to America and gets 270,000 in free money over 11 years to spend as he wanted... to compete against America's children... The "acquaintance" who is not a friend rents a small illegal house to him in his back yard anyrate this acquaintance was repeating the typical republican gobbledygook about blacks bad hispanics good and how this particular hispanic has helped people and is hard working and "you have to admit the white people have gotten lazy"
