Fixed width is really a pain. The rest is great. But please! No fixed width

I think the text contrast is too light, and difficult to read, and the grey bars are annoying.
Why did I buy all these High Resolution monitors and video cards to look at low resolution formats.

Fixed width is a bad idea...

is it phone friendly auto sizing ? - having to manally resize is a Pain.
I'd like it to be readable on my phone without having to expand everything each time i click on a thread

(assuming that you have removed the fixed width option lol)

I'm not loving the fixed width, but the icons and stuff look great.

I'd love more skin options, perhaps different color schemes to play with? No fixed width.

I agree with what many have stated, please remove the fixed width. Otherwise, the look and feel are a pretty good change!

Just tried it. As everyone else has said, the new fixed width totally blows.

I also did not see the green arrows denoting new replies.

The print is much smaller, more faded, and harder to read.

I moved back to forum default after a few pages.

I dislike the change, in every aspect.

Fixed Width makes it unusable to me.

Too annoying to even look at the other improvements.

RCGroups has looked pretty much the same for a decade, and it's time to update our style

I think what has made the above statement possible is that the current format/look just plain works.

I can certainly understand the desire to "tinker," but I find myself asking why mess with what has worked so well for the past decade? And continues to work....

It looks awesome but most of my screen is now blank and unused.

If it works, don't "fix" it.

1. The fixed width is not well-liked.
2. The old style had more contrast.

Everyone's feedback is very helpful! We're already working on improvements!

Good, by the time I got down to the bottom these were my two issues along with everyone else. Gray text on shaded background is not old-eye-friendly.
