There is just soo much more woosh coming out of extreme_rc's F-16 with the changesun 70. Now whether the motor type makes the difference is up for debate, but the principle difference between most people's setups and ERC's is that he's using an inrunner.

I think it also has something to do with the aluminium housing. The CS is so flimsy and must created some resonance noise....or perhaps not

It's a bugger of a fan to balance by hand!
mine (When it's right) Makes no noise whatsoever! And it's an inrunner
and the Delta V shroud with small intake lip in HP-F-16.
Hope to get video of it this weekend after I recenter the fan....I put it back wrong last time I balanced it.

do you have any rpm numbers with your setup? we have the same motor and some lower kv cyclone outrunners this fan no matter what we throw at it wont go more than 40,500rpm

so extremerc must be using the 2w25 its the only long can 28mm 6s motor they sell, or if its a custom wind why wouldn't he just say it. whats the secrecy all about?
still need to know what rpm's the successful setups are running
