How does one fit the CS-10 onto the BL-32 motor? I just found out it has a 5mm shaft.

I ordered the adaptor from Tamjets, Extreme has them too.

I was thinking it would be more or less a PNP (balancing not included) setup.

I just ordered the RC -Castle alloy 10 blade unit for my BL32 . After I ordered it I realized it only has 4 stators . The only reason I ordered it from RC-castle is because they had it without motor , which I didn't need .Is this going to be less performance than the hobbyking 7 stator unit ? Seven stators with all those extra bolts does look like it's going to weigh more though ..

How many watts and AUW is your 70mm setup in the FlyFly Mirage? I just got the 4S 1200W Lander 10 Blade EDF from HK. Wondering if it would it be comparable to your setup? (Besides being a bit heavier ) I have the FlyFly Mirage too (still in the box)

The 4S version is not very powerful.

The 6S is similar to what Scuna is using.

I was wondering about the 6S version too. Maybe time to get 1 unit of that too.

Somewhere on the forum, I think it was Tam from tam jets posted that he tested a 7 stator housing and saw the same thrust numbers for 100 watts less power, so the seven stators were more efficient. I don't think it was the heavy lander housing, I think it was a skyworld housing. CS10

Its around 1300 watts on 6s. When the same fan and motor were in my twister it was nearer 1700 watts . Ducting must play a big part in this.

Sorry the auw is 4pound it nearly hovers so thrust must be just under auw

The lipos i have tried in mirage are 6s 3300 65-130c nano's and 6s 4500 45-90c nano's, i think there is a weight difference but you cant feel it.

I have two of these to try . maybe put them in my twin70mm raptor
