Well my first L2855 to show wear is the 2300 on 5S which has probably done approx 50 flights.
It is still going fine, it seems, but it is noisy in low RPM now so I think the bearings are on the way out. And it could just be a case of bad luck and not as good as typical... or vice-versa, could have been good luck to last so long. As long as you get at least 50 flights from a $12 motor it is probably a good deal. But I think mine will run out to 100 still. Except I am moving it to 6S, and it probably won't like that!! |

To correct John about the BL32 2150KV.
It had more than 200 flights. Sean put in about 15 flights every time we goes out. Few week back at BW he put in 40 flights in 2 daysweeken. So this motor I test on the bench had easy 300 flights and we also ran on 7s at least 3 flight until with my latest 65C batteries start to blew the rotor. ![]() So at 1500-1700 watts this E-flite BL32 motor with good balance rotor. It will out last anything out there for cost of $75 at LHS. It worthed spend extra $50 over cheaper motor from my opinion. I highly recommending this motor anyone if you want something that last. |

thats why you get Tams 5mm shaft adapter and spinner, while your at it get his dynamically balanced cs10 rotor and assemble and your done!.... no balancing required........how much is your time worth? you can spend hours trying to get a stock cs10 balanced and never really get there. its just another great option from Tamjets

As Tam's parts came out I fitted them (adaptor, washer and spinner) to my Tacon 2550kv motor that I run on 5s. I just got my dynamically balanced rotors back yesterday. I installed one in my PZ Habu with the rest of Tam's goodies. The sound is awesome and the balance is much better than I could do with a magnetic balancer and countless hours of my time. I have balanced rotors and props before but the cs10 can be tricky.... So the money I spent with Tam was well worth it IMO. Thanks again for the fast service Tam! |

Balance rotor beside been running smooth. It had a lot other benefit from it too. Longer life on your motor and reduce power loss to the shaft. |

As far as thrust, based on what others have benched, and the speed I'm getting out of the panther, It would have to be in the 2.4-2.6kg range. |
