If you have a product like Shoe-Goo over there, it works great for installing the screen. It's a silicone adhesive if you don't know what it is. Over here it's made for shoe repair. Lay down a thin bead then push the mesh right into it.

Have you seen the RCMK K30 28.8cc kit from gizmos,im thinking of upgrading to it,it has more piston support,just wondered thats all whether you think its worth ago ??

Hi guys
finished all the fibreglassing now,removed the foam from inside cockpit, cut the screen out and drilled out some big holes in the back of cockpit and in the front of the canopy to allow the air through.
Im gonna modify the strut and bracket so i can get the stuffing in and lined,also make a support for the stuffing.

Oh yeah, I've been looking at it. I'm not planning any new boat builds this winter and to keep myself busy I thought that it would be a good thing to add on.

Im gonna get 1 for defo,but im gonna it 1st and see how the hull is then ill add it on so i can see how difference it makes
28.8cc i a 46" tunnel should be alot of fun

I don't know if you've bought from Zippkit's or not but your transom hardware looks just like the stuff that he sells. He's got a new quiet tuned pipe that's working really well on my RCMK's, so well that I'm going to get 3 more of them when I get the cash together. I run it at 13-1/2", whatever that is in millimeters.

I got my hardware from prestwich models here in the uk.

He's ok iv had alot of stuff off him for many of my builds,this 1 and my FE hulls
iv looked at his pipes but unsure which would do,so i ordered 1 of him but dont think its any good and sticks out the back a mile LOL

If you're not happy with it at all for any reason, Joe will refund every cent (or whatever you use over there) that you spent for it and yes, that does include shipping! Most will only refund the price of the part so you're out S&H costs both ways.

thats good to know,im gonna get the money together for the K30 top 1st then ill get the pipe,but just need to get a couple of other bits and pieces 1st before i order them,im gonna attempt a outboard cowl to hide the exhaust abit and for more scale looks,ill get there just wanna get it ready for paint now

7.2 HP and 19,000 RPM is very impressive! Figure with that little of an increase in displacement that they're getting around 2 HP more is quite an accomplishment.

wonder what size props it will turn

I don't know but I've got a couple of big ones that it ought to turn! Mark Sholund of Props 4 U sent me one to try out on the 'rigger but it just didn't have the oomph. With that kit on, I think that it should be able to spin it. For my mono, there's an ABC 7020 waiting in the wings.
