These are a neat inexpensive frame

Here is a semi completed pic of my micro.
waiting on the hobbywing 6amps to arrive

For those who are searching/sourcing parts..no need to go overseas for your parts when they are readily available stateside.

Motors

Here are the 2000kv 10 gram motors
http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...0-Sport/Detail

Here are the 2mm prop adapters
http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...r-2.0mm/Detail

These 2mm adapters I'm not a fan of. I had to cut down the shaft a few mm and also trim off some length to the inner plastic prop sleeve to get the prop screw to snug up against the prop itself. The ones I've listed above are much better suited, in my opinion to these tiny props.

Speedo's

Hobbywing Funfly 6amp esc (turnigy plush are hobbywing funfly/pentium esc's)
http://www.hobbypartz.com/hobbywing6aair.html

Same esc with a different name. Still a hobbywing funfly esc
http://www.hobbypartz.com/proton6aair.html

Another hobbywing pentium 6amp (aeolian)
http://www.leaderhobby.com/product.asp?ID=9394001220259

a couple other stateside sources
http://www.valuehobby.com/power-syst...flyfun-6a.html

http://www.toysonics.com/emax-esc-be...ming-card.html

IF you prefer the previous revision of the Hobbywing 6amp esc (smaller board)
http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...--7-Amp/Detail

Props

For props, you can get Gemfan quadpacks from blueskyrc.com
http://www.blueskyrc.com/index.php?m...08fa01b29c6b41

GWS tri blades are available here
http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...nch/Categories

For batteries, any of the retailers I've listed would carry a selection of small 2s and 3s sub 1000mAH packs

Make sure you purchase 3mm or 4-40 nylon standoffs from various sources on the web.
I get them very quickly from places such as multiwiicopter.com in australia (surprisingly, it takes just a few days to get them from AUS to WA state with their inexpensive shipping cost for small parts in a padded envelope)

I've also ordered standoffs from quadrocopter.com in Colorado and get them in a couple days.

For those who have only purchased the Plush esc...a little bit of info.

Hobbywing is perhaps the largest manufacturer of speed controls in the world, next to them would be ZTW.

The turnigy plush esc is a hobbywing pentium...now known as the Flyfun. Briefly known as the Fentium when intel TOLD Hobbywing that Pentium was a registered trademark.

Other brands of the "pentium" are

Exceed Proton
Emax
OEMRC
Next Level from Innov8tivedesigns.com and rcdude.com (the scorpion dudes)
Dualsky
flightpower's flightmax
Thunder Power's Higrade
DYS
Aeolian
Robot bird (for those of you in europe)
Compass (you heli heads would recognize this name)

The list is actually quite loong so don't think you need to get Turnigy Plush's from HK when you can get the same thing elsewhere and in stock

If all the dealers did what YOU are doing there would be NO RCG. Do you realize that its the sponsorships that dealers pay is what keeps RCG site going? If you are gonna adv like this u should pay to be a sponsor.

Brain dead, with those 10gram motors have you use the 5x3 prop on them? How well do they do if you go with the 3 blade prop and what size would you suggest?

I am still waiting for my motors and ESCs to get here, but I think it would be cool to run this little thing with a triblade. Any input on that guys?

I haven't personally used the three blade props on this. I think it would work just as good. If a person wanted to use slightly bigger motors or run a 3s battery, three blade props would have to be used.

I see now, I assumed you used 3s packs -- I thought that is what I saw in your video.

Nope. just 2s batteries to save weight even more. Weight is a big enemy. Have to keep it light as possible to get the performance and flight times to be the best it can be. Just a few extra grams will mess with how it flies and PID numbers.
