Mounting wheels to servoless retracs

I bought a pair of HobbyKing servoless retracs. I guess I am supposed to bend the last inch of the strut or so to form an axel for the wheels?

Not ideal, if you are going to do this then very carefully, a pair of axles would be better.

Try searching Oleo. It depends what sort of axles you want. Whats the wire diameter of the retracts and what size wheels?

I think the gear wire must be about 3 mm. On their website I can't find axles that fit over round gear wire. The only ones I see seem to be designed to fit through flat gear legs.
