no... we must continue to "engineer" things out before we start chopping wood, I think we gotta figure out how to do a hatch now ?

That looks tasty!

Not that you asked for my help, but I was just looking at some pics and it seemed to me that the fins looked a little beefier. So I took a whack at adjusting it on your drawing. I just moved the LE of the fin forward a tad to make the whole thing a little wider.

let it be so.

one of the things you learn when doing fuses is that what looks good in one dimension doesn't work in 3D. ...
you have a side view of a sexy sleek fuse ... then you put a set of elongated wings and tail and a taller fin and suddenly things look silly and out of proportion , throw in that you NEED a larger fin for stability or it will be a "woobly goblin" ... it's a fine balance between form and function and the eye is in the beholder ... the plane NEEDS a bigger fin for stability but I wan't it to look "lean n mean" ... moving the tail area forward (not) taller is a good compromise , I'm going with it, I get more surface area without losing the FW tail "look".

what I'm trying to do is get a plane that looks SUPERBITCHEN !!! and ALSO has PERFORMANCE to back it up ! (not an easy task) but it can be done.
