Maybe if the blister was more subtle, otherwise Forget About It

Aren't the blisters on the 109 are 1/4 to 1/2 that thick and are contoured / radiused in...not like a wart.

The turbo intake could be attached with a large diameter neo magnet glued inside the fuse and embed a neo magnet in the mounting face of the external detachable turbo intake. Paint the face that goes to the fuse blaze orange...in case it is knocked off.
just a thought...

I think maybe the blisters are a little bit bigger around and not quite so high in profile, although they are pretty tall. Looks to me like they take up about half the fuse height. There is almost no space between the blister and the intake. I added a little bit of a radius on my fuse to try to make it easier to mold. But there really isn't any radius to speak of.

the problem is, the fuse has been elongated and now the proportions don't work.

How about a Ta152H wing planform? It works for the size and is a 190D derived airplane.

I always preferred the Ta152H and FW190D over the earlier FW190A...

Slopeiron's 3rd pic shows the intake scoop being pretty long...with a stretched nose I think that intake needs to be longer. Plus the look without the exhaust and wing makes it look different. It appears in some pics the 109 blisters are more flat on the top edge and dont go higher than top of the cowl in some angles...

Zephyr Canopy changes.

when I come into my shop each evening, I look at the Zephyr plug ... and I pick it apart... "something" just wasn't quite rite ... the canopy was really bugging me, just wasn't doing "it" for me... every fiber in me told me to round it off ... and so I did and now I am at peace with the universe ... and I have a P-51 (ish) canopy.

Looks like you changed more than the canopy. It's a whole new plane now.
