You don't want it to look like the spinnaker on timmy's B17.



Although, one good thing about having a giant fin is it makes it easy to find in the tall grass.

details...

I can look at a plane and see things I don't like rite away ... I lowered the canopy, reduced the size of the verticle and leaned it forward a bit and tapered the tail more like a 109 and less like a FW.

closing in....

on the "look" I'm after ... mated the fuse to the now smaller canopy, rounded the verticle just a bit and went with a slightly wider tail.

She's got some carving skills Dutchy! That looks almost too good to eat. Give her some of that basswood and let's see what she comes up with! Not sure if the result will "fly", but it will look great!

I didn't like the look of the fin, and the more I played with it, the more it didn't look rite ... so I took the best drawing I had and blew it up, then copied it ...
