Good call IMHO.

Bigger gun ports could be cool, but honestly I like it pretty well as-is.

It's got pretty high system requirements and if you've got a joystick, throttle quadrant and pedals you'll be stoked. TrackIR is rad too. On the plus side it's free to play and is really fun!

Well ... not totally free ... one you start "Buying" all the add-on goodies ... other than that ... I haven't been able to run it at full graphics since v1.16 and the "simulator" is too great to fly without the eye candy at full!

Dutchy - I have no skillz ... just no life ... and a angry wife ...

But ... I also have made Off-road and road racing maps for a popular Racing Sim known as "rFactor" ... but then we get way off topic ...
Hot Lap for Me at Desert Mesa 1.40:275 (1 min 54 sec)

Blue River Canyon \ GRID Challenge - movie - (preview) (5 min 56 sec)

These game images are some great inspiration for paint schemes. Diggin' the lightning bolt rising sun pattern on that first one, Dawg.

put it on later as an "after thought" ... not in the mold ... then let the plane decide if it likes it on ... after the first landing ....

But it IS your plane, your mold, and your decision ... How scale do you want a non scale plane?

Nope full realism. My stats suck because of my penchant for aerobatics and VTPR - I die a lot

Correct.

Although RCGroups is my favorite internet game by far

When I take breaks from slope soaring, I stay busy doing other things and have a pretty diverse range of interests. I'm never bored

OK I'm done with the OT stuff for this thread. Love the Fokkerschmidt!

Yeah the setup is a PITA... anyways I guess it's for the best, this way you won't be too distracted from the Fokkerschmidt

Yes - it has a shortfall in the player interface ... Russian design ... what more can be said ... controller has to have the buttons "assigned" manually ... not all stock controllers "work" ...

But, the flight sim is pretty accurate for most planes ... and by now ... they may have corrected some of the other flaws since I last flew it. It is way better than the "Red Baron" ... and it is the only WW1 sim I know of ... I still liked "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe" (a sim made by Lucus Arts back in the 90's) I truly wish that is one sim that would be resurrected ...
