I've run it a couple times, next time I'll put a clamp meter on it just to make sure she don't blow the esc then up she goes.

Right. Thanks Graham. I have the 1200kv too. I was thinking this can go below 70a. Too bad.
I had the 1400kv on 8s, lots of power but amp a bit too high to my liking.

Pulls 105 amps at 3200 watts. The plane now has a dps12 on 10 s, so the motor and fan are now going in my freewing hornet LOL

Pls let us how she fly. This combo fan is rather heavy got the hornet.

Its heavy i have upgraded retracts with scale one's. Anyway the weight is 7 pound, measured thrust yesterday its 7 poundish sounds awesome post some pics later in week. as for flying the weather in uk is pants. keep you posted.

I have the DPS fan as well, well except for the rotor, HK forgot to ship it with the fan.

I plan on stuffing the DPS into a Sniper XL on 8s.

The CS is going in a Mig 15.

Ummm ive got a het 600- 37 -2 sitting doing nothing its in a wemo shroud wonder if the 12 blade will fit in there ? them numbers sounds ok for a good 6s setup

Paul the amps will be through the roof well over 100 amps i think 1500 ish is a better kv drawing around 80 amps

Update on C.S. 12 blade 90mm. w/ARC 1400kv, 120A ESC,C.C.Pro BEC., NEW 8s(2x4s)40c-3700mah. Tested all equipment, out of airframe, everything works, and is in the right direction....LOL. Spooled up balanced fan on home-made test-stand. Runs smooth as silk. Do not have correct connectors(EC5s) on watt-meter to get actuals yet, So in the plane she went, while I wait on new connectors. Fan sounds sweet.....I upgraded all my plugs on this jet to the EC5s, but forgot about my test equipment.....DOH-H-H!!

lots of mods. cs12 het 700-68 14kv on 8s 4000 pulls 105 amps at 3000 watts. Modified undercarrige , 6mm spar running through fuz into wings, 120 amp esc covered fuz with fiberglass tape to strengthen all joints. Mods to elevators carbon shaft and tubes. gives nearly 7 pounds of thrust auw is 7 pounds.

also cut doors in half permanently open to maintain shape of nose.

This is a glued CS12-90 on HET 700-60-935 on 12cell 3300 25C Genace. CC80HV and an intake lip modded from another fan. No exhaust ducting.

My thrust setup got 10lbs 7Oz. on the short runups I did.
