f1 tunnel hull

Hi I have part of what I think is a f1 tunnel hull boat and was wondering
if enyone is could tell me more about it.
Also i am wanting to sell it and would like 75.00 out of it.
It it is mising tho top cover and is just the hull and moter.
The moter is a K&B 3.5 water cooled and I think the is home made but looks good although it just has a coat of old paint on it[i think the guy just never finished it] I will get pics on as soon as i can and would like to lern more about it thanks.

Pictures will help immensely then from there we can play the popular online game show "Name That Hull!".
Without seeing it the hull part might be the hard part to sell if it doesn't have the cowl. With the K&B 3.5cc OB, that's more of what the selling price will dictate. The really old first generation of K&B 3.5's are the hardest ones to get parts for and aren't that desirable anyway. The rest of them are more like a small-block Chevy as although they went through changes over the years, parts are still plentiful. You might get $75.00 sight unseen but buyers will want to know the condition of it. Things like a broken skeg on the lower unit kills the price even though it isn't all that expensive to replace.

Kind of look like a Jerry Dunlap design wooden hull, wouldn't not be too hard to make your own cover out of foam, cover it with fiberglass+epoxy and then dissolve the foam. Or fabricated out of thin plywood(1/32")and a few formers.

Seeing how it appears that you want to sell it, I'd make firewood out of the hull as it'd be cheaper just to sell the outboard alone and save shipping and boxing costs. It would take a lot of work and money to fix up that old hull.
What it is, I haven't got a clue as there have been a lot of kits made over the decades.
It's hard to age the engine also as they made that version for a long time. What little that I can tel you is that it has the 12mm crank, the newer ones have a 13mm in them. The black carb is an easy one to tune, usually around 3-1/2 turns out from closed gets it really close to where it needs to be.
The motor mount is a Prather, a real pain in the asterisk to adjust. The hull looks like a Prather but as far as I know, they never made a wood kit, only epoxy-glas.
This motor was cheap in the day as you could buy one new from Tower Hobbies for $115.00. Clean it up and that'll help the price. Most of the time a can of carb or brake cleaner will do wonders on it.

That's definitely not a 7.5cc engine, you can see the 3.5 in one of the shots.

Dumas made only one wood .21 OB tunnel that I know of, the others were gel-coated 'glas and the other was ABS.
The stepped bottom is the unusual part which should be a give-away for someone unless it was modded by the builder. That was ahead of its time figuring how old the hull is.
