I am new here, also new to rc world, and need a little help.

i have a RC Helicopter SH-8829 , wich uses a 7.4V Lipo battery.
The Original Battery is part number 8829-12 available at 600mah or 800mah, 600mah comes with green package, 800mah comes with blue package.

I received the 800mah blue package.
Size is 60mm x 30mm x 12mm , Weight is 45g
Printed info over the battery says:
- TY - 553060
+ 7.4V 800mah 1AA



Will the Rhino 2s 7.4v 610mah Battery from Hobbyking fit for it? Looks like the size is perfect and weight is less also. Not sure about the discharge rate, since i dont have this info from original battery.

Someone said me that Rhino batteries are good, and it will be probably better to get the Rhinos instead of the original ones.

the Rhino is 190mah less than the original- what this means is a bit shorter flight time, but that should be ok.

what is more important is the "C" rating. the Rhino is 20C, meaning with 610, it can put out approxiamately 12amps...

your original is 800mah, but it does not list a "C" rating. Most likely those cheap generic original lipos are 10-15 C rating...probably 10-12 amps...

I'd say you'll be fine with that Rhino.

BTW - most of the original stock lipos are cheap and overstate their capacity, so that 800mah is probably really more like 650-700mah anyhow.

Answering to my own post, just to give the results.

The Rhino 2s 610mah from HobbyKing worked perfectly for this helicopter (SH-8829). if anyone need spare batteries, this will work.

It fits without problems in the battery compartment and gives around 8 to 9 minutes of flying.

That is pretty good flight time.
