servoncable will do as that the only cable use, just treat your RL set as a normal rc transmitter wiring wont make any difference same as others only difference is the rx antenna and the range you getting from it

Twinstar was a pain for me for FPV, I didn't like messing with two motors. The best FPV plane in my book is the Skywalker. There are several places that carry it, here is one.

Me and my friend fly with two Rangelinks all the time. Never had a problem.

What video systems are you guys using when tandem flying. We tried it once and had video issues. I have a 1280 rv and my friend has a rmrc on 1258, shouldn't they be able to operate together without interference? We both use RL lrs.

i fly on 1320mhz 200mw bevrc vrx/vtx combo, so far no problem

You aren't running a frequency hopping spread spectrum transmitter/receiver. You are running a simple 1280mhz band VTx/Rx You will definitely have a problem with interference with each other with frequency overlap. That is why Spektrum DSMX and (theoretically) Rangelink/Dragonlink can work together with multiple users on the same frequencies because they are spread spectrum.

They're not spread spectrum. Just frequency hopping.
There is not enough bandwidth in 433Mhz band for SS.

To fly together on video frequencies that close you both need good VRXs (Racewood),
preferably with SAW filter mod to improve selectivity. Then you need to be careful to
coordinate your launches and landings so that one plane is not far away when the other is
really close. Once they're both more than 50 meters away or so, should be fine.
When one person needs to land, they call out, and the 2nd plane flies close until
the 1st is down and turned off. Best to land a few dozen meters away just to
be sure you don't swamp the other guy.

As for two RLs together. As long as they've both been through a different number
of advanced bindings (which changes the Tx ID) they should be fine. I fly with someone
else on RL all the time. Can only figure Teamsherman and his buddy have defective
RL Txs, maybe stuck on the same TX ID, unable to change.
