Ever since then, it will not move anything. I rebound, and still have the solid LED on the rx, but i get no movement when i power the servos, and I dont hear the ESC startup. That all makes me think it is not making any connection. Funny thing is that everything seemed to work ok until i added servo wire extensions to the mix.

Any ideas?
It looks fault rx, maybe over voltage input or reverse input. send it back for repair/replace.

The videos will show that he's juggling dozens of variables. He's got
the ppm signal from the transmitter running through a several meter long
cable to the RL Tx module.

Videos 1-2 show it first not linking, then not binding while the Rx is installed
on the plane where it appears every channel is in use, and the Rx is
crammed under about 4-5 different OSDs, and APs, but it will
bind and link when RL Rx powered by itself with nothing else connected.
3rd video shows it back on the plane, sometimes seeming to link ok, and sometimes
linking very badly (Rx light blinks on and off randomly and servos move in fits
and spurts). End of 4th video shows that same behavior even when RL Rx
is powered by itself with nothing else plugged in. That leads me to believe that
the problem is with that extremely long extension on the PPM wire to the Tx module,
which he never eliminates in all the testing through 4 vids. Guessing the Tx
module is getting a weak or corrupted PPM signal.

is it possible to separate 2 boards of your RX?

asking because I am in need for placing RL RX on one wingtip, and FPV TX on other,
for long range FPV
FPV in the clouds (7 min 16 sec)

to avoid routing like 14 cables through wing to fuselage, I am using PPM SUM from it.
then decoding it to PWM for servo usage and OSD (Storm OSD doesn't have PPM in)
I made wings click-in with MPX 6 pin connector, all works quick and neat

right now I'm fiddling with an arduino that decodes PPM to PWM...
http://www.multiwii.com/forum/viewto...=2832&start=10

but in case ppm line is broken it doesn't have failsafe to turn plane back (RTH OSD)
and to circle above me until ESC LVC shuts it down and lands in stable mode(OSD autopilot).

it works,
but I would like this way better, to place second half of your RX in fuselage, and bring only those 3 pins to other half that has RF piece on wingtip.
less electronics onboard and original failsafe functions
and optical inspection with bright light, showed me that upper plate of RX
seems to be connected only with 3 pins in one corner (+,-,digital? ) with lower plate that has servo pins, hope I am right
can it work on 120-130cm distance between boards

-longer antenna is not an option as it causes signal loss

-and I've already had a plane with servo extensions from fuselage to wingtip where RX was, and it wasn't very practical

Hi, I have received my RL and made a micro test and get 15m on my quad so how far can I expect for flying?

Sid.

Can yo look into how this affects us Rangelink / 8fg users? I heard Sander (lmmersion) is working on a firmware update for their system, as getting Futaba to sort this cuickly is most likly not going to happen.

Correctly described the problem Daemon.muchas thanks.
If I wear a wire that I do now shorter and longer tell them the result.

So the tx led blink fast ?

I still recommand you try to use the longer rx antenna, Just upload the rx pins layout.

>> rebind will cancel the fs out. so you need reset the fs.

I was talking about arduino failsafe

RL has great failsafe for every channel, it works OK.

But, question was, with how many pins does 2 pieces communicate with each other,
and can your RX then be separated with wires, distance around 100cm

will it work?

LRS link failure rangelink

Hello
2 test. with the shortest wire, according Daemon said it was the possible error, link failure continues, I have changed my plane and another installation still does not work.
Sid private message command him to see what solution we give to my team, no evidence of malfunction.
thanks

here the video of the second test

Ok ,Email to us,and i will show you the shippping info,Just send it back for checking...

BTW, so did you confirmed that RX power supply do NOT has any issue?

Hello Sid, I've been beta tester in industrial electronics and do hesitate to make the decision to give rangelink failure, I have taken many steps, I just want to have a good LRS and be proud of it.
thanks
