I believe the dx8 puts out higher PPM signal then the dx6i. I would try the link I posted here. It isnt to hard takes about 45 mins for a good solid job on it!

if you are talking about my problem with the dx8 then the answer is that my firmware its up to date.

Give this a shot its at your own risk however. just make sure polarity is right and you should be fine.

the throttle works fine when i push it up slowly but not when i push it quickly up like on the video.

the radio is a dx8 and i know of people that have the same configuration with out any problems.

the reason why i need a quick response of the throttle is because i hand launch my ritewing ZII and i dont have the time to slowly put the throttle up.

Hi,

We need to find out if the problem is with your ESC, or with your Dragon Link / radio connectoin.

Try this, hook up a servo to your throttle, and see if it responds perfectly or not. If the servo responds well, then we look at the ESC. If the servo acts the same as the ESC, then we look at your Dragon LInk connection / setup.

One thing I always advise for strange operation , or squirrly behavior, is to first:

Change the ID on your Dragon Link sytem.

Rebind your receiver.

Then run the Calibration process for 15 minutes.

This only needs to be done if the system is not working correctly. If your system is working correctly, and you ONLY want to increase your system performance and range, then:

Run the Calibration process for 15 minutes on each receiver.

This only needs to be done twice a year, I like to do it if there is a huge temperature change, say from Summer to winter. Doing the calibration every week will is not needed, nor will it increase your performance...

Version 2 looks so delicious. My hands can barely stop me from buying it. However I own v1 and thus I don't need to upgrade any time soon. Just feels very handy to have the power switch.

Have you thought about having 3 level power switch, Low(250mw), Med (500mw), High (850mw).

Anyway, great job :-)
