i looked at the servos you said to use, why dose it knead 20oz servos?! the controls are tiny! i put servos with 24oz of tork in my foam byp which has four inch control surfaces!

Aero-model.com has them is the stock. Not on the web site yet. Just picked one up. Going with the pusher version.

this model needs good servo's
this is not a slow fly model so you need good strong servo's with good centration at an small control surface

this servo's can you use directly at 2 cell lipo

I REALLY want one of these babies and I'm gonna order one at aero-model tomorrow but I'm wondering if my gws 30mm fan by mike cross will fit If i hollow it out, i have a castle thunderbird 6 amp esc and Spektrum 6300 microlite rx and servos

Do you think this would work in the Viper ?
the motor mount is triangular with the centres @ 20mm .... is that too big for the tail ?

quite interested in one but dont wanna ebnd up with yet another motor LOL

wadda you think?

Hi,

The motor is fine. (I am using the same one, but only 2000 K/v) I believe that a 3x3 Graupner CAM Slim Prop is the max. you should use at 2 cells.

No problem with cg balancing.

use a 3x3 gws or slim prop the mini viper don't fly great with big prop's
450 is a little bit big 320 is better at 60 watt

Do you have any pictures of the setup you have - motor mount etc ??? whats your C/G ? 45mm at the root ?

Would rather not reinvent the wheel if someone has got as good setup already ..

Yes, c/g at 45mm is perfect.
