A week ago I finally finished my mini viper.
AUW: 5.5oz/156g with battery
Motor: Brushless outrunner 1818 3800kv
ESC: Turnigy Plush 12A
Prop: 3x2 GWS
Lipo: SLS eco500Mah 25-50c
Receiver: OrangeRx R410 4ch 2.4Ghz
servo’s: Zebra ZS-F100 (same as HS-55) on aileron and Blue Arrow D05010MG digital metal gear micro servo on elevator
Power: WOT 6.9A, 8.6oz/245gram thrust
I also mounted some LEDs on the plane and made some air intakes.
The plane is a bit on the heavy side but it flies excelent.
Throwing the plane is a bit tricky but that is because of the weight I think.

Time to revive this thread! Building my second mini viper! My previous one was taken out by a parkzone trojan midair! Going with tailerons only on this build. Trying some new tricks with this one.

Some images of my EDF powered Mini Viper:
35mm EDF inside:
A couple 2.5g servos from Hobbyking, FRsky FASST compat. micro receiver and a Mystery 15A ESC completed the build. AUW is exactly 100g with 300mAh 2S. Flies well!
