Please let me know how it works out.
This little plane has a misbehaving stigma attached to it that I'd like to see squashed.
I am the guy that attached it though.
All of the cartoon models fly great above 1/4 throttle but this one gets unstable at 1/2 .
That’s why I recommend that on the test flight and after the trims are set that you go up high and see how slow you can go.
This precaution will set you up for a good landing.

I might just increase the tip chord depth as well, I have done that in the past on elliptical wings, combined with adding 1.5deg washout it stopped all the tip stalling horrors.

Well apparently its been to long since i built my stang so a little reading is in order to make sure i get my wings right . Good think i read the part i thought was the 6 mm leading edge shim actually glues on top of the wing . If i actually get up at 3 am with my alarm i'll glue them on before work

yes, that strip is there to keep the leading edge thick so you have material to make it round.
Thin leading edges stall without warning so don't try to make it sharp thinking you are reducing drag.

Hi
I am working on a cartoon spitfire.
I have made a modification so that the wing is removable. I am using bolts to hold the wing to the spitfire.
I will show more details when I finish the spitfire.
Here are some pictures.

Cool modification, it should make any adjustments easy.
Thanks for posting it.
