Anyone near Central Jersey that can help me set a 450 and test fly?

I have a exi 450 that I don't know how to fly yet but I'm hoping to find someone near central jersey that can test it and make sure everything is working right. I just want to make sure is flight worthy prior to storing. If your nearby and can fly a heli, pm me or post here. Thanks

I'm in Old Bridge about 1 minute from rt.18 and 5 min from the EB Square Mall. I bought it as a first heli but was never able to fly it. I broke all kinds of stuff the first time I tried to fly it. I fixed everything and want to put it away but I'd like to put it away knowing that is flight worthy. I bough a 120 SR and mSR that I'm going to be practicing with. Then I'm moving up to a Blade SR that I picked up on ebay and hopefully someday I'll be able to fly this one.

I never setup the gyro because I didn't know how and the HH signal is disconnected form the receiver. I hovered it yesterday and bent the main shaft as you can see in this video. It was a quick fix but I'd like for someone more knowledgeable to take a look at it.

How about saturday (10/08/2011)? There is a club (Tri county rc) and it's based in Edison, I don't belong to the club myself, but I will be flying with a couple guys from here in East Brunswick, Heavenly Farms field. If you can bring your heli, I can look at it.

There are some guys who have been in this hobby way longer than I have. It helps to have more friends.

I don't know of any clubs near me. I followed some guides on youtube from xheli.com which has a video series on the same model and a series of videos from mikeyrc.com but I think I'm somehow missing something. I know that if someone showed me how to do it once I'll remember it for ever. Furthermore, If I can't fly it I will never know.

I appreciate your offer but I'm 1 hr away from NYC. Thanks

It's amazing people try this at home with a 450 size heli when they're noob. It's dangerous - think of it as a flying lawnmower...

he's a noobie, what did you expect? I'd just tell him, flying a heli indoors is not recommended. That's all.
