From T-Motor the older T-2006 is perfect or the new with slightly lighter weight, AT-2204. Twisted Hobbys 2203-1750KV 19g is very similar or maybe even identical.
The slight overweight is nothing to be worried about.
will one of these work?

The first one I knew about and that's a motor for models at 5 oz of weight and below. The second one is unknown to me.

This motor is really good together with the GWS 8x4.3 SF: TURNIGY 2204-14T 19g Outrunner
Weight of the plane around 6oz.

This one is a re branded T-2006. Very powerful. Can be used for a 7 oz model with power to spare: HobbyKing 2612 Brushless Outrunner 1900KV

Hope this helps.

question for you guys

i got a question for you guys that have or have had a Dx6i transmitter...

can you get the servo travel above 100%?

ive seen it mentioned, but for the life of me, i cant get anything to go over 100% throws... be awesome if i could.. i realize this transmitter is severely limited in what i can do..

thanks guys. (i did look in the manual by the way)

You should be able to go into "travel adjust" in the menu and increase it there. Just make sure whenever you do that the servo moves as you increase the %. If you get to 105% and the servo won't move any further when you keep increasing the travel than back it off back to 104%. This will keep your servos from being over worked which will fry the servo.

Most radios can also increase the D/R past 100% but i don't believe you can do that on the DX6i.

On my Hitec Aurora 9 i can go to 140% on the travel adjust("EPA" on my radio)and also 125% on the D/R

Correct to increase over a 100% is done in the travel adjust in the DX6I.

if 125% travel is 100% of your available throw... what does putting D/R above 100% do? i thought putting D/R to 100% with the travel set to 125% would get you 100% of that travel...

boy thats confusing.

Yes the Turnigy 2204-14T will work great for 3D. You can probably use the GWS 8x4 DD, but the GWS 8x4.3 SF is the optimal prop for this motor on 2 cells, in my experience. I've used it myself in the Crack Yak Lite.
You can even try the 9x4.7 SF if you are only using short burst of full throttle.
You can use 3 cells but you have to use the throttle wisely or use the GWS DD 7x3.5 prop to not overload the motor. The 10 amp ESC is perfect for the job.
