+1

I used to be a lot more timid. Now, bad WX just makes things more interesting.

I'm not against flying in the wind. Just not on my maiden. Tomorrows forecast looks great so I gues ill be bringing the edge to work.

It's amazing how confident and care-free flying these Twisted Hobby's planes can make you. I used to get nervous thumbs everytime I got ready to fly a plane. Just so afraid something would happen, or something might go wrong and it would all be ruined. Now, I can't stop smiling as I launch my planes.... and from time to time, (and it's getting more frequent) I find myself pushing my flight envelope... slower, lower, faster, quicker... wind, no wind, whatever...

I get nervous thumbs whenever I fly my beast 3d but that could be because that is the most fragile plane I've ever thrown around. Going out to maiden as soon as my son gets home from school. Not too nervous about this one though. Seems pretty durable

Yeah it would have been nice to have something from TH for the umx gear. I've got two strykers one gutted for a 22" yak from Chris Bowker. And I'll probably do another leadfeather yak once I kill the other stryker.

It looks like I can't find a source for Crack Yak batteries, but I did find a place where I can (hopefully) pick up some 1300's. So I was looking over the TH site, and have narrowed it down to:

44" Extra Slick
43" Yak-55
43" SU-29

I'm primarily a 3D guy. Which of these would you guys pick? Ease of assembly would be a huge plus. I'm going to wait until I get a shipping confirmation on the batteries before ordering...

When I was deployed, back in the day, other RCGers shipped me stuff. I'd be happy to do that for you too. I've got other buddies there I ship to also. I'm not afraid of contraband either!
