Odd motor recommendation, most motors avg ~ 3watts/gram which would be in the 75-90 watt range yet this says 50W. If it really will fly effectively on 50 watts, most of the F3P motors are in the 50w range at ~ 15-20g depending on $$$. A 50 watt motor and 6 amp ESC would shave another 1/2oz. Who will be the experimenter?

If some one could figure a simple way to attach a Mamo unit to a 2mm shaft this might be great with VPP/ VT

Little edge is the best sport trainer correct? Set on low rates of course it is the floatiest and most forgiving.

Dads got A t28 and I'm looking for a sport flyer that's a bit more durable for x-mas for him.

Yeh I reckon the Edge is the most forgiving of the lot. By the sound of it the Edge would be a good choice.

Stock power combos are awesome. No need for bigger.

My guess is that they are going to use 1.3 epp. I have scrach built with 6mm instead of the 9mm and it takes a lot of carbon brace work. 1.9 to 1.3 would drop the weight a lot and put it in the indoor weight.

Whatever the guys at TH has in store I know it'll be sweet. Of course when everything is released the big question for me, will be what to get. Waiting to see what is on the horizon is nerve racking.

I go with a Futaba 3154 on the ailerons too. What's the difference between the HS 35 and HS 45? Been using JR 188's on the tail and am very happy with them.

Yep, I'd just go with the stock combo. That's what I run in all mine.
