Lol too funny.

At the inlaws tonight flying my crack slick around and I have this brilliant goofy idea. Pulled it off 5 times successfully. My wife comes out with the camera and well you know what happens here.

Failed landing. (0 min 27 sec)

Yes we were landing on the roof and taking back off. This one didn't quite work. Missed. Tried to pull up so I could see it and well pulled a bit too far and landed on the roof. Inverted of course.

We thought it was an Osprey too but if you look close at it'a legs, they are covered in feathers which I don;t think an Osprey's are. I think it is a Hawk.

That was me this morning at the shop. Of course my ladder was to short. Couple poles and some wire to fish the yak down and back in the air it went. Flying to close to the building was not a good idea after all. Doh!

Lol kamikaze. Funny part was I was doing it on purpose trying to land up there. Elevated runway. My son thought it was a riot.

ROFL

Are you sure it wouldn't be possible to do an inverted take-off from that deck (rooftop)?

The Royal Navy does upright takeoffs from an up-slanted deck.

So, couldn't you do it, inverted and down-slanted? (That's equivalent, right? )

No LG, but with gravity on your side.

Then maybe go directly into a loop or Immelmann?......The aerobatic possibilities are fascinating.....

No one figure out the hawk yet? It does kinda look like a chicken hawk. An Osprey make a few passes at my Crack Yak at the field where I fly in the video. They have a wing span of about 4-5 feet.

We've seen video of a TH plane being flown (by kids!!!) with only half of the wing.......why not half a prop?
