I would LOVE to have a place to fly indoors... I wish that wasn't such a long drive for me as well or I'd commute. lol

Hmm, leaning towards aiming my wife at a Crack Pitts and Power Combo as the answer to "Honey what do you want for your birthday?"

Decisions decisions.

(interestingly enough, the power combo++ does not list the Crack Pitts as one of the models it is for).

Excellent present. My wife probably won't buy me another airplane for my birthday but I think she's getting me a Go Pro Hero HD camera which is PERFECT for filming my Crack Yak

This is the first prototype at a 16" wingspan. It is a significant improvement in rolling and harrier performance over the UMX Extra 300 and of course it is much, much more durable. Really a blast to fly. I handed the transmitter to a few people at SEFF and Chris just couldn't stop laughing as he was doing the snake back and forth in an area the size of a pop-up tent. However we are not satisfied with the power and longevity of the single cell UMX power system so we are looking into other options. The final version will be different than what you see here but we hope to make it a reality for this coming indoor season.

It looks great Cody lets hope you can sort the power combo out. If it ends up with the UMX Extra 300 guts in though i think i will pass on this one and wait to see what else Twisted has up its sleeve for Chrimbo

At 16inches almost want it 1s to keep the weight down a brushed option though just won't cut it on the power combo though. Wonder if 18in on 2s would be the ticket. Hmmm things to ponder.

I like your style... lol... I've got plans for something similiar on my work table at home... hoping to start cutting tonight. 19" 9mm EPP+ 10g motor, 2s 180mah 3-3g servos... I'm just going to put it together and see what happens. I'm going to build it with no carbon bracing if at all possible.

You're right! I will. Just need to build up some vacation time to be able to take off.

I'm sure it could be easily kept under 100g too.

Go with 1.3 epp, I did one with1.9 and 10g motor and wasn't happy with the results.

The micro crack yak is going to be an interesting bird. Sure Brad and gang will give us a fun plane to play with.

I'm guessing its going to be a 2s 138mah battery setup. The development is going to be interesting to watch.

Maybe it will use the beast internals with a smaller battery.
