That plane is very tempting.. I could gut some stuff. Must hold off until i get caught up around here .

Gonna see if Rocco the owner will bring one out to the field to try.
I fly with him once and awhile.
Gonna have to give one of these a whirl.

Doesn't look like they are using any Carbon Fiber inside the airframe like Extreme Flight or 3DHS so that is somewhat of a concern for me in terms of strength versus weight.

Like the looks of it but I will be curious to see the all up weight.

I'm thinking a 70+"er should be next? I agree there probably be some more carbon nterspersed thru the fuse/wing, canopy included. Think I would put a carbon tube crossways inside the canopy(after tinting of course!). But other than that-the over all layout looks convincing to me. Just enough tail moment to track well and the SFG layout should make it nice and smooth. Have to wait for video/product release to say for sure. But it's a 260(ish) so I'm in!!!

Will a 4S 4000 be too heavy? I just bought 4 of these for my 71 slick.

4s 4000's would probably be on the IMAC side for weight. I would guesstimate that a 4s 2500-3200 would probably be about right for floaty 3D feel. Blake says he's going to go fondle and/or steal the demo @ TAS too LOL

Hopefully some video will be taken.

I take it you have never seen an Aeroworks giant scale plane.

I had their 50cc Edge and it can out pretty light after some slight mods to it. There also was not one piece of carbon fiber in the plane and let me tell you, it took as much of a beating as any of my 3DHS or EF Planes.

While carbon does add rigidity to an airframe I feel it is more of a customer "piece of mind addition"

I see carbon being advertised in PA planes all the time and it does nothing for extra airframe strength.

I wished this plane was coming out soon. I need a small electric to fly for the winter and this one looks like a winner for sure.

I really like it, I have been waiting for an extra for a long time...
though I love the plane the price is a bit much for me; I will stay with E.F.
