Tamjets F-16 1/8 Scale Version 2

I've started a new thread to discuss and share information regarding the new Tamjets F-16 1/8 scale. We are very excited with the lighter weight and ailerons. If you have any questions just ask away. I'll get you answers as soon as I can.

Did everyone see my old 1/8 scale running 15S?

This question came from the other thread:
"Hey Tam

I am just wondering now what is the latest and greatest of your F-16.

Like how much with Scale Landing Gear Package and your TJ100DR ??

Is a new one coming out soonish or can we expect a special christmas deal?

NS. "

Here is the pricing:

Tamjets F-16 1/8 Scale Standard Scheme (Thunderbirds, General Dynamics or Edwards) $1,495
Tamjets F-16 1/8 Scale Special Order Scheme (Aggressor, Danish, Israel) $1,795

I actually have the Aggressor so I'll post some photos. You can check out the schemes at www.fbjets.com

TJ F-16 1/8 Std with Scale Gear Installed $2,500. This includes Doors and Air lines.
Add $300 for Special Order Scheme

Turn key Std Scheme $4,995, RTF minus the receiver.

In a week, there are only 2 left from the 10 ordered. 1 General Dynamics and 1 Edwards.

Let Tam know if you want to be in the next batch or have a special request.

Thanks Chris.
Our new generation it was design for EDF.
The factory did a good job shed off 2 lbs lighter with the lay-up and not give up the structure.
I'm also had machine shop machine new scale wheel rim for TJ-Prolite wheels/brake to save even more weight.
I believe with 12s 6200mAh system we can get it done under 15.5 lbs.

Man a plane that size at 15.5 pounds would have killer performance with a good flight time.

Yup.....we got the fan had the performance and sound everyone like.
That why I put the plane on strickly diet to get more duration time.
This new generation F-16 combo with TJ100DR it winner projects for those love the Viper.
BTW,
We it had new ducting design for scale gear and lay-up with carbon reinforcement to handle 7kw without any carbon toe wrap.

Oh Tam! I just finished making full ducting for the old Cermark F-16. Guess I will need to see if it fits this plane! The 102mm Dynamax generates 13.5 pounds of thrust with no inlet lip on 12S @95 amps! Sounds like a perfect setup for this plane!

Nope...not go to fit.
The old Tamjets/Cermark F-16 was not the same shape.

Oh Tam my man.

The Minute Man F-16 is a beauty of a Jet

When do you think the next batch will be produced? I got a very HIGH , and I mean EXTREMELY HIGH, TOTALLY HIGH, EXTRAORDINARY HIGH Interest into your new F-16 with the Minute Man or Netherlands Royal Paint Scheme plus Scale Landing Gear installed and your new all magic TJ100DR 12S System.

You got me falling in love again...not you..but close

Tam! Nice job on the new kit. This looks fantastic. I told you my buddy maidened his TJ F-16 1/8 scale on the new P-120SX with 30 pounds of thrust, right? I was the victim to fly the first few flights off for him but I have to tell you it flew fantastic, even with that massive engine in there and as much fuel as a tanker can haul. I can only imagine what a lightened up EDF Viper is going to fly like. Fantastic!
