Chris,
Thanks for the link!
MoM it!? Maybe...
MoM and f3f ballast spec is 24oz per sq ft wing loading or 11lbs which ever is reached first. So plus 50mph would be very dodgy, 35mph provide great course conditions .
Pack your Nyx and join us, I'm going to ask Bill C to join us.

MoM racing is cool but a 2 day F3F race would be better IMO.

35mph +++ I would just make your F3F race flexible in that you could start early if the winds were predicted blow hard...

I would come up again. I had a great time hanging out with you guys and camping was fun too. Plus, if the winds do get strong and good maybe I’ll be able to show you some 350mph DSing. Now that you got that DS bug, Sam

I apologize for any confusion I might have contributed to.
The 2 day f3f event would be a separate event than the MoM event. Judging by the pm's and post I've received about racing this slope I have enough for both events

I'm down for it, Sam. Nothing like Weldon for front side (we clocked a Rodent in a 148 mile per hour frontside dive with no windup on the back) and nothing like some evening DS at the world's fastest hill after an F3F comp. . . . Great plan!

I'm hoping some of the other nor-cal guys will chime in. I've got room in the car for a couple more guys and gear.

peace

I would love to do it guys. As long as it's scheduled at a time other than some other events I'm allready committed to. I think June and July would work for me. This is a great "Family" event. Camping by the river, fishing with the kids, BBQ with friends and racing F3F!

Let's do it!!!!

If we do it we should schedule soon so everyone makes it a priority and gets it on their schedules. Also we will need to make camping reservations soon if we want June or July on the river.

Sam....take the bull by the horns and make it happen dude!

You could call it "The Weldon F3F Shot-Out!"

I think with enough planning and since its so close to home I can do this one. Most who know me have probably given up on me ever re-entering F3F. My situation FINALLY lends itself to having some time to fly and race after several year with other priorities.

And Weldon just plain rocks. I don't think I have ever flown a hill with such great conditions and easy landings. Although I did manage to find a nice rock to DS my JW into at speed.

So, I am in.

Thats really further than I would like to go for an F3F race.
Just explaining my no vote. I know that a LOT of folks had a great time in the past flying there, so have a blast and good luck for good race conditions.

I will likely have to work, anyway.
I always know that I will be working if there's a fun event to go to...
