Getting ready to mount wings and stabs. Still waiting for the JetFan 90 to return from Rainer, need to get that in there first.

Jetfan 90 OD is smaller than ducts. Used the intake ring which I cut down to use as adapter. Fits well now with smooth transition of duct to fan.

None of the ring itself. Dremeld it down to almost nothing then slide it in. Here's a pic of it in the duct.

Been a long time since I dropped in on this thread. Has the paint improved on this model or does it still flake off easily? Just finishing the L59 and its got a very nice paint job.

Ductwork done. Used 3M metal duct tape to edge the protruding 1cm.

Anybody try moving the nose gear forward to make it look more scale i did last nite.

Last but least i also can't stand the low rider look that Pro-Design/ Pro EDF makes on there kits they did the same thing with the G500, A 65" wingspan plane sitting 2 inches off the ground , so i used Tam's Struts but at the full lenght he sells them, went into the fuse on the mains

No, kept it in the standard location. Do like the TamJets, lowrider version though

Found some old parts from my "Jet Teng" old 90mm Black Bae Hawk.

The back fins that hangs out at the back on the bottom of the Hawk also hangs from the Viper
