Yeah, don't bother with the fuses unless it doesn't work. If you don't touch it, it will run at ~16MHz via OSCCAL adjustment. If you really want, you can change F_CPU to 8MHz and it will run at that speed instead; however, it normally expects either internal RC oscillator which it sets to ~16MHz, or an external 16MHz oscillator, since those are the most common types.
