probably the cheapest place for them, sadly as everything else on sparkfun is severely overpriced.

Hi Jim - rimshotcopter's ebay suggestion is as good as any.I posted the ebay link for the pins I got early on in the thread. If I did it again I'd use P50 or p75 b1, j1 or q1 pins as they have a smaller head, as clearance is a bit of an issue (I'd also weaken the peg's spring a bit at a guess). I store it with a pencil keeping the jaws open so I don't ruin the springs in the pogo pins.

Hi Johnny,
I found this mother-lode link of of pogo pin selections, but the size nomenclature is a bit different. I supposed smallest is the best choice for this? http://www.alliedelec.com/search/sea...&Term=pogo+pin

Cheers,
Jim

I can report that 12A plush works with the TGY.hex firmware (on the bench, not flight-tested yet)

Attached is a picture of the ISP-connections for this ESC.

Thanks to all the contributors and SimonK in particular!

Anyone know the difference between the v3.1 and v4.1 of typical HobbyWing/Turnigy Plush ESCs?

I've got a few Plush v3.1 and some HobbyWing v4.1. I'd like to mix them on a Y6 but only if I'm able to re-flash all to the same firmware.

V4.1 at the bottom. What do you electronics experts think?
Also, since you can't see the chip on the v4.1, it's SIL F330.

Hi Jim - yes I'd definitely get the smallest possible - I had a look at the link you posted, I'd look at size 0 at max by their sizes (or get the metric pins off ebay as they're cheaper). the p50 pins (0.68mm dia) would be best as the p75 (1.02mm dia) pins are just too large to be able to set straight once you've got the wires soldered & the insulation done.

Cheers, Jon
