Aren't we all carrying those around in our pockets now? For someone building at your level, I would say a video camera is a necessity.

I know how it is. I just got a smart phone this month, and I'm a computer programmer - just didn't need it. But, now that I have it, I'm surprised at what I can do with it. It used to be a real pain to, for example, take photos of airplanes and post them on the internet - but now I just take the picture with my phone, and I click the "share" button, and it puts the picture on Flickr for me, I don't even have to log in. The other day, I took a video of some baby geese outside the office, and I had it on Youtube before I got back to my desk. I had no idea life could be that easy

Cuz I'm kinda like you... even though I work on computers for a living, I get stuff done with paper and pencils.

But ask around - I'm sure someone at your club will have a smart phone. I would just love to see these planes in the air - they are beautifully made and I bet they fly the same way!

I work on computers for a living also. I love working on my plane, gardening etc. as they are the opposite of what I do and don't require computers.

Tom you don't have a cell phone? How do you expect people to be in contact with you ALL the time LOL.

Robert
