Need help on a motor/esc combo for my trainer.

Hey guys I have a few questions for some of you experenced guys. I just bought a tower hobbies 40 size trainer for a whoping 50 bucks , well the motor in it is locked up and everything i own is electric so i figured this would be a perfect canidate for a conversion. I was wondering what you guys would suggest for a good motor/esc combo that doesnt break the bank. I dont want to spend a bunch into this plane because its a learning platform but i want to be able to keep it and fly it whenever. here are the specs of the plane that i know.

Wingspan: 62" (1575mm)
Wing Area: 698 sq in (45sq dm)
Wing Chord: 11.25" (285.75mm)
Weight: 5 lb (2268kg) assembled
Wing Loading: 17 oz/sq ft (52g/sq dm)
Fuselage Length: 51.5" (1308mm)
Airfoil: Flat Bottom High-Wing
Center of Gravity: 3-1/2" (89 mm) Back from the wing's leading edge
at the fuselage

Thanks everyone. and if anyone has anything forsale let me know im in the market haha

Rules of thumb give you a ballpark range

5lb AUW @ 100W/lb = 500W
.40 glow equals ~ 800W

If you want to use 4s... this would do

If you'd prefer 5s then get the lower Kv version.

At >300g this is certainly a very big .46 motor (a Dualsky 4250 [.46 size] is only 200g!).

Maybe one can exceed the 40A rating!
