hi all

Today I tried to do some tests: altitude hold + sonar and GPS.
Unfortunately there was too much wind, but I made the attempt of "altitude hold" and it works . the GPS had the solid blue LED, but could not prove it.
I wonder if they work on "hold position" with the GPS?

greetings!
enrique

Hi Enrique,
if the GPS was working... or when it will (if one day...), yes altitude holding and GPS holding are supposed to work at the same time. There is a video of Minsoo that explain that at
FlyCam NaviBoard GPS Position Holding (2 min 28 sec)

But as the GPS is working for almost nobody and as we can see on the video, Minsoo do not use a single interference tip (no big tower and the begining of the video shows a naviboard with the not separated buzzer), I am starting to have big doubt on this teaser video ! Me and moste of the people here, IMHO bought the naviboard because of it...

Any thoughts?
So you were right. Thanks for the obsevation. I'm sure it assisted Minsoo. Can't wait to test the new code.

PC connection to the Naviboard (new program and update)

hi

I am glad that there will be a solution, but there will have to make another expense. PC connection to the Naviboard "USB to Serial v2.1 Flycam" is possible to reduce shipping costs (19 $). perhaps as a courtesy to users with these problems.

greetings & thanks
enrique

@G2loq : thanks for the info!

Can somebody post a picture of how they power the NaviBoard via external UBEC or similar?

Is the UBEC connected to the receiver or the NaviBoard?

Also, does somebody have more info or a link on how to update the NaviBoard firmware?

Are you sure you are on the good way Minsoo ?
Thanks in advance
