The paint is holding up well now that it has cured. The paint quality is good, it just takes a good five days to cure or so. Still has a bit too much royal blue tinged with the navy for my taste but it looks better in person than it does in photos. The photos tend to really bring out the royal blue where in person it looks more navy.

The wing feels very stout. Even with just the two wing spars, I don't notice any flex in the air, but then again it's not really fast and I don't whip her around the place searching for high stress G maneuvers...The scale, slow-ish flying I do with her is not really testing the wing any ways. It's going to be a while before I really WOT her around through much of a battery cycle. I'm still traumatized from my first two 1700 Corsairs that met some very violent ends.

I'm going to go run another battery or two through her in a few. Weather's cooperating and we have more rain coming tonight...

Very nice Todd. I'm glad FMS stepped up for you and replaced the plane. This is one I'll be putting on my Xmas list. Glad the rest of us had you to sort it out! LoL...

Wow, that's some nice deflection in the flaps! It must be beautiful coming in for a landing with that. I'm really trying not to buy this right away, but it's so hard.....

I know, I LOVE the full deflection of the flaps on final!! One of my favorite aspects of the plane in flight. Lands so ridiculously easy it's not even funny. Between this and their 1700 P-51, grand slam home runs!

Great plane and video! Why do I see people taxing with the flaps down Pete with BH does it as well? Is it easier on the L/G? I know we were instructed to taxi with flaps down if we need to communicate an issue on board the plane to the ground crew .
