Just curious why Castle carries the 1.7 Corsair and Banana Hobby does not.
Assumed as USA dist. BH would have them. Anyone know why not??

Maybe something to do with finding the dihedral problem before a batch made it to the U.S. They were quick to pick up on that.

Have seen no word that B.H. actually got any of the first ones though they may have, just haven't listed it yet. It's possible they want to send the revamped wings out to the dist. to they can be repackaged with the corrected wings.

Latest word from FMS...

Yes, the new F4U V2 is ready now, and your F4U is also finished. Unfortunately, we can not send any big size box such as 1700MM in mainland of China now due to the limited size By EMS company. So we have to send your F4U to Philip who is our customer in HONG KONG to ask him help us. We will send the F4U tomorrow and Philip will send to you once he receive it. And I think you are still the first people to get the V2 F4U.

Amazing....

First, Philip gets smashed due to BH whining about their business agreement with FMS.

Now? - he's the one to pull FMS along to the world.

Way to go, Philip - you've been the number 1 all along, and you continue to be.

That is messed up though. He can't sell to us but they ask him to help get the products here? I hope he is properly compensated...

I'm quite sure that will not be an issue.

I hope FMS starts to look at what LX did with the 79" P40 .
They shiped the fuse in two pieces and wings are three , center and two outer , this way they can stack a box and make a more efficient cube in shipping .

I believe the V2 Corsair will have the FMS upgraded retracts in them (plastic, not metal...The metal ones are upgrades you can purchase separately). I'm looking forward to testing them out. I'm happy with the PZV2s so if they are at least as good as those, we'll all be happy.

Haven't seen any concrete showing of rotating retracts from FMS in the metal version yet. Do you know yet if they're going to produce those?

Post #882 - Oh, dear, why would anyone say something like that about P-40s when they gotta' know it doesn't sell and we don't buy it? As a model, the 1700mm H-K P-40 may have fallen short in execution but in concept it's really on a par with what FMS produces. Wouldn't mind a bit though if FMS produced a version of it.
