That could be right...I don't want to misspeak...Maybe the metal gears are optional/replacements for an added fee?

I have a lot of aviation wallpapers...They aren't mine that I designed...These are images of my planes taken from Microsoft Flight or FSX.

Aros, I've found that if you extract the model from FSX into 3ds max (or similar) the model detail is amazing compared to in game. I did that with the Classic Hangar Fw-190 and could not believe the detail I was seeing.

You can use a program called 3dsimed to open the 3d model from FSX, then from there you can export it as an *.obj or *.3ds file. Whichever is suitable for your 3d modeling software. There are no doubt other ways to do it, but that's the easiest for me.

This is how I got the model that I used for my Fw-190 wallpaper I did for my mate. (posted a low res version in the fw-190 thread a few days ago)

I've updated the Corsair wallpapers to reflect more accuracy. Merlin was kind enough to point out (discreetly, lol) that this is actually a F4U-1D, not 1A based on the canopy. I also removed the antenna which are installed only in contemporary versions.

Here's the updated wallpapers..

Morning Flight (1920x1080).

Sunday Morning Sortie (1920x1080)

A Ghost of Days Gone By (1920x1080)

Wheels Up (1920x1080)

Long Day (1920x1080)
