Thanks, I found that. I just ordered one Monday and called BH to try to get the new lower price...they are looking into it now... I am kind of annoyed by the way they do things. I wonder if it's is possible to refuse delivery?

You CALLED where did you get their number? I ordered mine on Friday and paid the full price. I emailed them about their phone number and have not received a response yet.

626 227 2003 they have a very limited window (10-2 not positive though) and it is PST

I do feel that I have to be honest though. This is a replacement for a gift F4U. Not sure exactly how I wound up in a spin, but it was unrecoverable and damage was significant enough to replace vs repair. So now I have some spare servos, motor, esc, gear....some parts are repairable, but for the most part too much to really mess with.

Looks like PW-RC has the 1700mm F4U wings. I would think they a V2 but not sure.

For the last month or two I have been reading through the Blitzworks and FMS P38 and the LX / FMS F4U 1700mm forums. I have noticed a few kindred spirits among the threads ( Ldm, Dangaras and Aros who could be my long lost brother, for the luck he has.) just to mention a few. I have smiled with your guys successes and winced with your mishaps. The work/fun you and other people have done on this thread has been entertaining and very very informative. Thank You.

A bit off topic for this forum, I have a BH P38 V1 witch I have turned a practice platform for my modelling skills but would be first in line for a FMS V2 P38 if they ever come out.

I have a few questions about the FMS F4U 17000mm Corsair. If some of this has been covered please bear with me as I might be on information overload.

1) Does FMS plan to bring out a new version with a folding wing and/or a sliding canopy ( the folding wing makes me feel like a 12 year kid with a playboy)

2) If not, can you put a LX wing on the FMS( stupid question of the day ) If FMS did this I don't think I'd be first in line (to many people ) but I'd be in line.
Kondor lists a F4U Corsair ( I think it's an LX ) with a sliding canopy but I think it' a typo

KMP has the LX corsair as well as others, but you should email them to find out for sure.


I dont know if you will get folding wings or a sliding canopy from FMS any time soon. With the world economy as it is, they may not expend too much effort on the 1700mm focusing on the 1400mm versions that sell better
