Yeah i realize its smaller, my point was wont they use the plans from that one to build the new one as all the details will be the same just a different scale. I can hope they will anyway.

That's my thought as well...The Durafly is the same plane, merely in smaller scale and nobody has ever mentioned the dihedral with that Corsair, or their 1400MM version for that matter (which in photos the dihedral of the 1400 looks just like the 1700).

I have a hard time thinking FMS would somehow reduce the dihedral on their 1700 version, their most taunted series or class of plane yet.

well if they work as planed there actually quite reasonable .
Example : original Hanger 9 corsair 65" was $269 with mechanical retracts
Motor was a 60 2 stroke (at leaste $200 or a 90 4 stroke $300
6 full size servos $20 =$120
so you $269 is now close to $689 .
Even if you went eletric , depending if you use off brand motors , esc ect your still adding dollars .

You would hope & think so. However look how they let the spar design slide on the 1700mm mustang. It looks as if it's a problem on the P47 as well. Just not as bad.

As far as beeing hasty construction? The wings go together one way. You slide them together using the glass tubes/spars. Can't see how they could mess that up.

Only time will tell now. I'm sure it's way to late to change anything. Hundreds of planes have been built by now I would think.

You may be right about their method but I haven't seen any detail of how they've actually done the wing build up. I was thinking it might have a center section with the "puzzle lock" that's glued together and they didn't get the angle correct. Tubes and spars would be more likely from the gull outward by my understanding. I also like to give the benefit of doubt to them as it may just be a one-off mistake, I hope, I hope!

Strange because when you contact them they say shipping can take 4 weeks from UK to denmark. Keep on dreaming fakers....
I can order something from the UK and have it within two days.
They are just trying to get orders for the plane.

If pw-rc does not have it, nobody does.

This is a post I made a few minutes ago in the P-47 thread...

I haven't been hearing from FMS myself...I feel strongly that they have hunkered down and are working feverishly on getting these retracts done right. I asked if the 1700 Corsair was ready and all they said is they are working on the retracts.

I'm honestly good with no new FMS planes for the rest of the year if it means the new FMS retracts are as good or near as good as E-flites.

My BH Corsair looks great, just need to get E-flites at some point. The stock LX retracts are as garbage as garbage can be...

Hello Aros,
Corsair from BH pleases me a lot.
But like the P51 FMS, i heard that the retract was bad.
What is the reference by E-flite for the Corsair from BH ?
Thanks.

Hi Patrick - FMS is currently manufacturing their own retracts that are based on the E-flites so they should be vastly improved over the third party manufacturer versions they have been using on their planes up to this point.
