lol if this is anything like the wood terminator clone, it will disintegrate on first impact. I still have 2 of them new in box after opening one and realizing how worthless it was.

Probably only good enough to use as a template to fabricate it out of different material.

They just released the V2 controller (KK) with the 168PA. It's still in stock (for now).

That frame would not last one crash. I'll stick with my real Gaui frame, its VERY durable and worth every penny. Plus spares are not a problem to get for it.

If they would cut one like it out of G10 or Carbon and price it about $35, it would be a hit. Why must they go SOOOOooo cheap

It is cheap and it actually looks pretty good. However please don't be mislead by the name. At 539 mm it is NOT a mini. That's 20" from motor to motor!

i cant wait to see the look on peoples faces when they open the box and build a quad that 2 inches smaller than the original quad they got from hobbyking then look in the box at the 6a esc's and 16g motors and their 850mah 2s lipo and 7/35 props thinking "ARE YOU SURE?"

:d

920kv should be perfect for this quad peeps get 10/6 dd props and cut half inch to an inch off each end should give you a very nice strong prop for the weight 15/18a esc will be enough but 18/20a esc (slightly heavier) also fine add a 2200 20c (i prefer lipo to gradually fade rather than loads of power then suddenly fall out of the sky) or 45c if your on a strict timer flight controller of your choice and you should be good to go

quick thought

wood is a natural resource much like our skin so my thinking is if you cut it you need to heal it! much like our skin so if you find the hobbyking frame too weak do the following

strip frame to all separate components (i am talking of v1 and v2 frames)

get a big bottle or many tubes of thin ca glue (superglue)

edge EVERY hole and cut surface with the superglue and let it seep into all the cuts

leave it to dry out of direct light and heat so you dont warp the wood

once dry assemble

will now be MUCH stronger not unbreakable BUT STRONGER!

V1frame add carbon rods to uprights of landing gear and add pool noodles to horizontal strips by cutting a slit in the noodle and stuffing the landing gear in it

JOB DONE

The above applies to anything you cut out of wood
