I downloaded the usb driver from clubheli.com and johns program from his site.
Yes i recieved the programmer with the unit. My box came sealed with a tarot hologram on it. I have so far had no problems connecting to pc. Only tested last night will do proper set up today.

Hi all! I have one of these zyx sitting on the bench for the last 2 years as I do not know how to set it up properly.....

I tired setting it up following the video posted in youtuben couldnt get it working correctly. Can anyone here please help?do I need a program box to do it with a computer?

Can i use an align 450pro shaft in my HK450pro flybarless or do i need a different one.

I measured a regular 450 shaft- it is 116mm
A 450 pro shaft is 118mm.

The ground out area is not centered either, and different on both.

Yes you can they are compatible.

Think i have it set correctly and everything moving in the correct direction. ie If i tilt forward then the swash tilts back then slowly returns to level. Just need to set collective up. Guess i just need to go 0 pitch mid stick, get the pitch arms? Is that what there called, level then adjust upper links to get 0 pitch.

Yes, 0 pitch at mid-stick with servo arms are all at right angle (perpendicular) to main shaft).

They don't need to be perfectly level (perpendicular) just need to be able to get the job done without binding, if the are way off it could affect the pitch curves but close is good enough.

Ok thanks will get that sorted tomorrow. Maybe get a test hover in as well. hopefully it won't do anything crazy. How do u update the firmware.

All you need is the USB doggle and either Tarot or John's zyx software. Detail instruction can be found in the forum/thread or Tarot website.

i couldnt see a firmware update option on johns software, have downloaded tarot as well, so will do it from that.
