One of the problems I am having is after I release the sticks after, say rudder input, the tail still keeps moveing after released. What setting is needed to fix that? Do I need to increase tail gain? I am so confused.... It's my only heli left that isn't crashed, the hurricane passed and I want to fly today!!!!!

Well I have just got back from flying. What a difference. I don't know how i missed the setting. It was the total pitch and roll gain. My problem was i only have the program box and i was looking in the wrong place Swash tuning. It was in the Basic setup menu. My total gains were only set to 20. Now i have them set to 45 and its solid as a rock
And to top it off, I did my first sustained full piro flips WOOHOOOOO!!!!

Thanks guys for the help

The battery looks like typical 4.8V Rx battery pack. Any Lipo charger can charge NiCad or NiMHi batteries. You can find both of them in LHS or any online hobby store.

Purchase a under $10 switch type BEC and use one of your LiPolys with it for 5V source instead.

Most RC radios come with a wall charger to charge both the Transmitter and the receiver / servp batteies. Use it to charge a 4cell Nicad or NiMH reciever battery or get a 4 cell AA holder from Raduio Shack, or your local or internet source , place 4 normal AAs in it and replace them when the go dead or use 4 NiNH cells in it and charge with the OEM wall charger or any of your Hobby Chargers.

That is nice! 20 is really low. you basically flew it without stabilization (nobar style )
I tried nobar a few flights before i got a 3axis gyro. no fun on a 450 i can assure you.

I like to set up low total gains when i am leveling servo horns , no need to keep the heli dead still while working on it.

I'm wondering if setting really low tail gain might help when setting up collective to tail compensation too.

not needed. just flip to rate mode, possibly with a little lowered gain.
Do a few gentle punchouts in rate mode to see what value works best on your heli.

Ok guys I am really getting frustrated now. I don't know what the hell is going on. I am almost ready to go back to flybar. My tail is still kicking out wicked to the right (nose left) when giving it full collective up and kicks left (nose right) when full collective down. I set the tail in rate mode, the belt is tight, Pitch is set at 9 and 9. I think the head speed is around 3300 rpm according to the headspeed calc. What else is there. I have my flybarred heli setup and it flys great!!! Help. Someone mentioned a setting in the gyro tail compensate??? Something like that but how do I do that. My radio is a dx6i by the way. Thanks,
