Thanks Mike. That was the solution. I haven't seen a programmer yet. An ebay seller or oomodel will probably be the first to have it.

Interesting to see the default parameters are different to the ones in the gyro. The collective has D gain in all modes except beginner and F3C, and the tail has varying D gain for all modes.

Also interesting to see it's version 2.0 but there is no gyro upgrade in the file.

I think it is the damo software.
After they prepared maybe one or two week you could buy cable from internet.

Yeah - I like the look of the software. Three major advantages for me ...
1. The ability to upgrade the firmware - I also have a couple of Beastx's and they current V3 software is much better than the original V1, hopefully we will see similar improvements in the Tarot software.
2. Using the software (and prog box admitedly) we don't need to count flashes etc. and it will be much easier to keep a record of settings.
3. There is the option to Open, Save and Transmit a config file. I am hoping that this will allow us to keep numerous versions of config files to quickly try changes and go back to a known good set-up if it does not improve things.

Very nice ,you can now tweak the system instead of using predefine settings.
That will improve the performance .

I used Firefox to download the software without any problem.

Vbar has it also. Something to do with tail torque compensation at 0 pitch. It's not recommended to be anything other than 0 for stunt/3D flying.

Disconnected feel?

My maiden hovers were successful but I have this disconnected feeling with the helicopter. When I move the cyclic it seems like a half second or so before the heli responds. Not enough to cause me to crash but enough lag I'm concerned about trying forward flight.

Has anyone had to increase the gain on aileron and elevator?

Any other ideas?

Thanks

If you are setup in F3 mode try 3d ,try reducing the expo first as suggested .
The software interface will allow us to adjust agility and other tweaks

Thanks for the replies.

I chose 3D mode during the initial setup per the recommendations here and in the HF thread. Also set 40% expo as a starting point.

I backed expo off to 30% then 25%. Stick sensitivity increased, as you would expect, but it had no effect on the time lag sensation.

I'll try and figure out how to increase E and A gain and report back. I think his is where a programming box would come in handy....
